Step out of your comfort zone with color!

No time in makeup history has there been more room for experimentation as today! Color has had a huge Renaissance from the standard glam of the 2010s. From the rebellious E-Girl graphic liner, Y2K frosted shadow, the Insta Baddie fox eye, and all the way to the dainty minimalist; never has there been more diversity and more upheaval in the beauty community. Here's a few trends you should look out for:

  • High Intensity Rainbow: Make sure to use a tacky/wet eyeshadow primer and pack those pigments in! Ever wonder how Instagram MUAs get such pigmented colors? Most likely it's due to using intense loose pigments such as the Makeup A Murder Neon Poison Pigments we used for the cover. Using these will push your eyeshadow to a whole other level! You don't have to be perfect at first, practice makes perfect with loose pigments.

  • Editorial Glitter Glam: Ever since Euphoria brought Y2K and Rave fashion to the forefront of street and editorial fashion, makeup has become more and more 'futuristic'. Next time you have a fun party to go to try this tip: Use a glitter gel for a uniform look! P/Y/T's Glam Glitter Gel is one of AllBeautyPro's favorites. Pop some on the lid, cheekbone, and other places you highlight. Pop on some well-placed rhinestones. Finish off with a natural mascara like Glossier's Lash Slick and a gloss like P/Y/T's Plumping Lip Gloss in Horoscope for a dainty, sparkly look!

  • Pop of Color: Next time you go to do your makeup, try a neutral eye with your craziest highlighter or that neon eyeshadow you never use in the inner corner! Don't be scared of intimidating colors like blue, yellow, or green. There are so many ways to spice up a casual makeup day. Seen on celebrities such as Selena Gomez and Cara Delevigne, simple yet in-your-face use of color is in!

There are no rules to makeup anymore; if it's pretty, it's pretty! From runways to magazines, you see the usage of more and more unconventional techniques. Such as whimsical rhinestones/gems, bold lipsticks, unique blush shades, and graphic eye looks. One of the biggest colors in 2020 is bright, flame scarlet red. Try a graphic liner with a bold, red lip and be right on trend!

Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone with color! Those neon colors people have shunned for years are making a comeback and you don't want to be left behind in the process.
